Awkward High 04:36
Bloodshot eyes awake, you chance a glance to the left, what a pretty face. Make no mistake. She’s a dirty little hipster doing cocaine mixed with addie's on the R train. But then she speaks in tongues that wrap around my head, and I can’t recall a word she said. Have I lost my mind? And she stares and I stare back just for a while. And I crack a toothy smile but, all I muster is this awkward hi. So I’m gone, I’m out the door in a flash, I straighten out the twenty dollars, I have in cash. My body’s stationary but I must be wary cuz this girl, she’s giving me some sort of psychedelic whiplash. So then she takes my hand, digits lock just for a while, she says I kinda really dig your style, but I think it’s kicking in. And she stares at the clock says “I think it’s time to go” she thought I had a much smoother flow, but I’m just blasting off into this awkward high. I’m gonna be alright though I’m kinda low. I’m gonna bounce right back organically yo! I'mma be alright though I’m kinda sad. You give the best damn hugs I’ve ever had! I’mma be alright I swear it so, til I feel the tingly feeling in my backbone! I’mma be alright I swear it’s true, guess I’m slightly susceptible to some sorta suburban substance abuse!

That Sound 03:52
That Sound Written By: Arunesh Ghosh (“L Niño”) What do we call that sound!? Can’t you feel the kickback yin and yang beneath your feet? Coursing through the ground! Donchya wanna feel that you belong, where you were all along? Close your eyes and realize what you thought were lies, could all be true? Your mind will melt and disappear, then recongeal, and reappear in a brighter hue! Can’t you already hear the incessant drone, illuminate all you’ve known?

Orangaroos 03:29
Orangaroos Written By: Arunesh Ghosh (“L Niño”) Two puffs and a sip of gin, to modulate the rate at which the room will spin. Try to, call the coin in midair, why care? If it’s preordained who will win. And all the gaps between the synapses snap to life with a chemical nudge. And all the impasse will pass in time, let your soul align. Break free from the daily drudge….. Two hits and a pinch of snow for kicks, combined with some fluttery licks. See the ladder intertwined, in your mind, courtesy of your cranial chemical mix. The serotonin that’s sapped from your skull shifts it’s shape and it takes the form of a gull. And the rocks that they threw from above rained true, we’re now a creature to cull. And geneticists, might one day breed fuckin' Orangaroos, and I won’t know what to do, but by then I will be, yesterday’s news, like a self-driving car. On Cruise.

Weekend Philosopher Written By: Arunesh Ghosh (“L Niño”) CoPilot Double Check that your goggles, are strapped on tight. We’re ascending quickly now navigation system set to uncharted heights. But if you take out all the bullshit in between, and throw away your shiny magazines, will ya feel clean? Ohhhh Or if you run away to some exotic place, document it on the cloud with a tanner face, will you feel serene? Ohhhhh And it’s clear that the condensation is misting up your mind like a raincloud. The soft voices in your head resound but you should be saying all of that out loud! So let the…. Psychedelic wave, crash into your brain! Let it remind you you’re not alone or insane! P.S I’ll address the fact that nobody, really, knows what the fuck to do. Red on your chest or argyle vest, we’re the same people just trapped in different crews. And it might be kinda true that this sounds to me and you like a generic message wrapped in a generic tune. But the message real talk isn’t that much of a shock and it’s hella better than what’s on the morning news! And I can tell that the people don’t feel well cuz they are starting to pick up on the fact. That the whole world is an ocean of potential being choked up by an oily layer of aristocrat. So let the…. Psychedelic wave, crash into your soul! Let it remind you the world is getting flatter and whole! Weekend Philosopher do you ever wonder so? Where do all of the lighters…..and all of the pens go?

The Girl From the Woods Written By: Arunesh Ghosh (“L Niño”) Your eyes, when they shined on me, lovingly, I remember…. Your smile could change my mind, all the time, I remember. But summer quickly came and went, and quickly all our love was spent, until nothing but bitter words were all that’s left. Our laughter turned to shrieks of rage, while burning that love soaked page, til everything was gone. The girl from the woods is gone, she’s gone, she’s gone. Let’s go, down to the beach, just you and me, and build a house. Tiptoe, silently, through your room, into your arms. But memories come, and memories go, they fall like rain, and stay like snow, melting away the very next day. From shooting stars, and lack of cars, we’d sit on the hill and stare for miles, in each others arms with nothing at all to say. But all of it’s gone like a flash of light, no more tears and no more fights, and all I’m left with is this fleeting song. Cuz she’s gone, she’s gone, she’s gone. Gone…. Gone……. Gone………...
